Annual Report- 2022-2023

This current Academic year (2022-23) 36 students took admission and classes were started in the month of October. Regular online classes have been conducted in the weekends by experienced and learned faculty members (both monks and lay people) with the same spirit. Classes are2021-22 Batch comprising of 37 students took admission for One Year Diploma and Six-Month Certificate course in Buddhist studies. Regular online and offline classes have been conducted in the weekends by experienced and learned faculty members (both monks and lay people) with the same spirit. As per the guideline of the Karnataka Sanskrit University, We successfully conducted the final exam at KSU Campus, out of 37 students 25 students qualified for exam and 17 students have participated in the exam successfully cleared main exam. Herewith we Mahabodhi Research Centre successfully completed the fourth batch. conducted virtually through online platf orm so that the students can join from their homes and complete the course work without any difficulties.

Annual Report- 2021-2022

 This current Academic year (2021-22) 36 students took admission and classes were started in the month of October. Regular online classes have been conducted in the weekends by experienced and learned faculty members (both monks and lay people) with the same spirit. Classes are conducted virtually through online pla orm so that the students can join from their homes and complete the course work without any difficulties. The Previous batch of 2020 -21 comprising of 25 students took admission for one year diploma and Six Month Certificate Course. As per the guideline of the Karnataka Sanskrit University, due to covid – 19 reasons KSU has authorized MRC to conduct the exams at the centre itself. We successfully conducted the final exam, 25 students have participated in the exam and cleared main exam. The convocation certificates also awarded to the successful candidates. Herewith we Mahabodhi Research Centre successfully completed the Third batch and awarded the certificate to the successful candidates. The virtual classes are going on uninterruptedly for the current batch.

Annual Report- 2020-2021

This current Academic year 24 students took admission and classes were started in the month of December. Usually, academic year starts in the month of June or July, as per the instruction from KSU, Due to Covid – 19 pandemic situation classes commenced in the month of December. Regular online classes have been conducted in the weekends by experienced and learned faculty members (both monks and lay people) with the same spirit. Classes are conducted virtually through online platform so that the students can join from their homes and complete the course work without any dificulties. The Previous batch comprising of 26 students took admission for one year diploma. As per the guideline of the Karnataka Sanskrit University, due to covid – 19 reasons KSU has authorized MRC to conduct the exams at the center itself. We successfully conducted the final exam, out of 26 students 15 students have participated in the exam and all the students who have participated in the exam successfully cleared main exam. Herewith we Mahabodhi Research Centre successfully completed the second batch and awarded the certifcate to the successful candidates. The virtual classes are going on uninterruptedly for the current batch.

Annual Report- 2019-2020

This current Academic year 26 students took admission and classes were started in the month of August. Regular classes have been conducted in the weekends by experienced and learned faculty members (both monks and lay people). Four monk lecturers and 3 lay lecturers took the classes during this academic year. From time to time, for the Ph.D research scholars and their respective guides continue to monitor the assignment and course work for students. Classes were also conducted virtually through online platform and social medial app so that the students can join from their homes and complete the course work without any difculties. Besides class room teaching we are planning to provide online classes for the distant students on regular basis. 14 students have attended the exam and out of 14 candidates 9 students have cleared the annual exam successfully conducted by the Karnataka Sanskrit University.. After completing the course, students of Research Centre will be eligible for higher Buddhist studies. this paragragh is for annual report 2019-20 for my website, give it in a professional way
