“My experience with Mahabodhi Research Centre's online Buddhist Diploma was truly transformative. After attending weekend courses in Bengaluru, I enrolled in their online program when the pandemic began. The curriculum, which covered Pali language, Buddhist scriptures, and meditation, was challenging but incredibly rewarding. Thanks to the support of Buddhadatta Bhante and the faculty, I gained a deeper understanding of the Buddha’s teachings, which greatly enhanced my work as a translator of Buddhist texts. The recorded lectures allowed me to catch up despite my teaching commitments in Switzerland. Over two years, I not only expanded my academic knowledge but also developed the right understanding of the Dharma, the first step on the Noble Eightfold Path. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to study at Mahabodhi during such a difficult time.”

My time at Mahabodhi Research Centre was transformative. Interacting with senior monks and participating in meditation retreats deepened my understanding of Dhamma. The Centre's programs foster responsible, peaceful community members, and the Dhamma magazine expanded my knowledge with insights from Ven. Monks and international scholars. The Diploma in Buddhist Studies provided opportunities for research, presenting at the Dhammapada Utsav, and engaging in valuable Dhamma discussions. These experiences shaped my personal and academic growth, inspiring me to apply Dhamma teachings in daily life. Bada Bhanteji Ven. Buddharakkhita’s books, published by Mahabodhi, remain an invaluable resource. I am grateful to be part of such a prestigious institution.”
